Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation With Standardized Community-Based Situational Assessment (A10750)

Client is presented with 5 standardized tasks (unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled) in a public library, featuring the opportunity to observe Client's performance as a team member, in subordinate, co-worker and supervisory roles.

Day One: Interview and testing (4 hours)

Meets all requirements falling under item I of the DVR Evaluation Referral Form. A complete Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation (Background Interview, GED/Aptitude, Interest-based Work Personality, Occupational Values & Needs, Transferable Skills Analysis, Labor-Market Research) is accomplished.

Day Two: Situational Assessment (4 hours)

Under item II (Work-Site Evaluations), the DVR Evaluation Referral Form features (item II.1) : "How did the individual perform during situational assessments conducted in the community". In response to this referral requirement, Certified Vocational Evaluation of Florida (CVEFL) provides a community-based situational assessment (in public facilities, such as libraries) which incorporates the following features:

  • A viable, standardized scenario enables estimated general population comparison.
  • Standardized, quantified, descriptive, understandable behavioral rating parameters (4.0 academic grading system), in estimated general population comparison.
  • Observation of Client's work-oriented interaction with team members at the peer, subordinate and/or supervisory levels.
  • Observation of Client performing various standardized unskilled (including manual), semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks, gauged by MTM (Methods-Time-Measurement) type standards.
  • Estimation of Client's ability to tolerate a full-time schedule, via behavioral observations and/or quantified pre-post self-ratings.
  • Evaluation of Client's task-organization and/or leadership ability (as applies).
  • Opportunity to evaluate Client's ability to multi-task, including in the role of Team Leader (as applies).
  • Opportunity to evaluate Client's ability to brief a supervisor on work accomplished (as applies).
  • Extensive, detailed narrative observations, highlighted for rapid reference.
